Juan Pablo Ferrer, a researcher at Andaltec, the leading entity of LIFE-COMP0LIVE, had the honor of presenting this project at an event organized by ScaleUp, with the participation of the Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA).
Within the training session titled “End-users’ challenges in the local value chain: Further building on the insights,” Ferrer shared the challenges involved in the creation of a future value chain centered around olive pruning.
The SCALE-UP project’s main objective is to generate tools and synergies based on the possibilities of biomass valorization in six European regions. Its fundamental mission is to develop biologically-based solutions at a regional level that can be scaled to a larger extent.
