LIFE Comp0live participated in the “Clustering Event – Promotion of Andalusian Bioeconomy through European Projects”

LIFE Comp0live participated in the “Clustering Event – Promotion of Andalusian Bioeconomy through European Projects” held on July 5th in Málaga. The event brought together 20 European projects with Andalusian participation to seek synergies and future collaborations in the field of bioeconomy.

Organized by CTA within the framework of the European projects SCALE-UP and BIOTRANSFORM, the event aimed to serve as a meeting point for companies in the agri-food, biotechnology, and energy sectors, as well as for Andalusian public entities and research groups interested in bioeconomy and currently participating or wishing to participate in European projects in this field.

Andaltec, the project leader, was responsible for presenting the progress of LIFE Comp0live. They showcased the latest prototypes of automobile parts and urban furniture developed within the scope of LIFE Comp0live, which have been manufactured using olive fiber. This demonstration highlighted the technical feasibility of using olive pruning as a reinforcement material for polymers in industrial parts of the automotive and furniture sectors.
