The LIFE Comp0live project has participated today in the I Industrial Cooperation Meeting “Martos industria”, which was attended by 70 companies and 150 professionals from all over Spain.
The event, held at the Andaltec headquarters in Martos, has been organized by the Martos City Council and the Jaén Provincial Council with the collaboration of the Marteña Business Association (ASEM) and Andaltec.
Andaltec and the University of Jaén, project partners, have been in charge of presenting the progress of LIFE Comp0live. They have shown the latest prototypes of automobile parts and urban furniture developed within the framework of LIFE Comp0live, which have been manufactured from olive fiber, thus demonstrating the technical feasibility of using olive pruning as polymer reinforcement in industrial parts of the automotive and furniture sector.
